Integrating MTARGET with Read/See CDP
Follow these steps to integrate MTARGET with Read/See CDP:
- Open your MTARGET account and go to the Tools menu..
- Click on Integration and select Customer Data Platform by Read/See. Then, click on the "View Detail" button.
- In the integration settings, follow the provided installation steps and note the Tracker ID from Read/See CDP.
Getting Read/See Tracker ID to Add MTARGET Form as a Source
To connect your MTARGET account with Read/See CDP:
Click on the "Connect" button.
In the source configuration, you will find the Tracker ID. Copy this ID as it will be used for integration with your MTARGET account.
Paste the Tracker ID in MTARGET account and click "Save" button to save the settings.
The connection status should now be displayed as "Connected." At this point, you have successfully integrated your MTARGET account with Read/See CDP.
Tracking Data from An Integrated Form
Open your form in the MTARGET app.
Ensure that tracking is enabled by setting the toggle to "Yes."
You need to set up the data you want to track by clicking Set the Tracker button, otherwise the default data will be tracked as
profile_update
For example, here we select the email data field to set as Distinct ID. We want to track the email and firstname data on the form, so we select the
email
andfirstname
properties. Finally, we click the Set All the Tracker buttonTo track specific data, enable the "Set Event" option and select the desired event to track in Event Name dropdown.
Once you have configured the tracking settings, click "Set All the Tracker", continue to Preview and Publish step and then click the "Publish Now" button to finalize the integration
Congratulations! Your MTARGET form is now integrated with Read/See, allowing seamless tracking of events and profiles.
