Connect
In Read/See Customer Data Platform, you can create various channels to engage with your audience through destinations.
One of the available categories in the platform is connect to Google Ads. With the help of this feature, you can easily connect and communicate with your customers through ads.
How to connect
Before you create Google Ads Audiences from data profiles on Read/See as a destination, you need to integrate it first, if you don’t have Google Ads account you must create it first. Here is step by step that you need to follow:
On the Destination page, select the Ads tab and then choose “Google Ads”
Click the Set Account button, you will choose Google account to connect with Read/See, and choose your Google Ads ID.
If there’s no issue about the connection, it will show connection success page, and you can start create audiences by click Start Create Audiences button
You need to define field in Audience Setting section
There are several settings here that you can use, based on your needs:
If you want to export all profiles to become audiences in one of the segments, then just fill in the segments
If you want to export all profiles that have been associated with a particular channel:
- In "on Channel", select "Google Ads"
- In "which", select "All Profiles"
If you want to export profiles that have been related to campaigns on certain channels:
Email Marketing
In "on Channel”, select “Email Marketing”
In “which”, there are 2 rules
Already receive → Send profiles that ONLY have received an email from you
Never receive → Send profiles that ONLY have never gotten an email from you
In "Campaign" select the related campaign name
Facebook Ads
In "on Channel”, select “Facebook Ads”
In “which”, there are 2 rules
Included → Sending profiles that have ONLY been sent becomes your audience
Excluded → Send profiles that ONLY have never been sent becomes your audience
In "Campaign" select the related campaign name
Google Ads
In "on Channel”, select “Google Ads”
In “which”, there are 2 rules
Included → Sending profiles that have ONLY been sent becomes your audience
Excluded → Send profiles that ONLY have never been sent becomes your audience
In "Campaign" select the related campaign name
Click the “Next” button
Here you will define what fields will be used, and divided into 2 categories.
Required field
Field that must be defined for profiles to be successfully created. If the values don't match the rules, the profiles will fail
Additional Field
Fields that you can define with optional properties, if you need it you can check the “Add Additional Field”
In this step, we will check the fields that you have defined. Here you can also check the configuration that you have set, and the fields that have been defined.
There will also be report profiles that were successfully sent and those that failed.
- Success → The values in the profiles are in all formats
- Failed → There are values in profiles that do not match the format
Click the button "Create as Audiences", and your audiences created successfully
