How to create Facebook Ads audience

Read/See can help you to store data profiles that you have as an audience on Facebook Ads to be able to send ads. Before that, you need to do the installation first with Facebook Ads which you can read the instructions here

To send profiles to Facebook Ads, you need to do the following steps:

  1. Click “Create Audiences” on the Facebook Ads destination

  2. In Audiences name, give the name of the audience you want to create

  3. In the segment section, select the segment you want to make Facebook audiences

  4. There are several settings here that you can use, based on your needs:

    1. If you want to export all profiles to become audiences in one of the segments, then just fill in the segments

    2. If you want to export all profiles that have been associated with a particular channel:

      1. In "on Channel", select "Email Marketing"

      2. In "which", select "All Profiles"

    3. If you want to export profiles that have been related to campaigns on certain channels:

      1. Email

        1. In "on Channel”, select “Email Marketing”

        2. In “which”, there are 2 rules

          1. Already receive → Send profiles that ONLY have received an email from you

          2. Never receive → Send profiles that ONLY have never gotten an email from you

        3. In "Campaign" select the related campaign name

      2. Facebook Ads

        1. In "on Channel”, select “Email Marketing”

        2. In “which”, there are 2 rules

          1. Included → Sending profiles that have ONLY been sent becomes your audience

          2. Excluded → Send profiles that ONLY have never been sent becomes your audience

        3. In "Campaign" select the related campaign name

  5. Click the “Next” button

  6. Here you will define what fields will be used, and divided into 2 categories. To find out the rules that apply to Facebook Ads, read here

    1. Required field

      Field that must be defined for profiles to be successfully created. If the values ​​don't match the rules, the profiles will fail

    2. Additional Field

      Fields that you can define with optional properties, if you need it you can check the “Add Additional Field”

  7. In this step, we will check the fields that you have defined. Here you can also check the configuration that you have set, and the fields that have been defined.

  8. There will also be report profiles that were successfully sent and those that failed.

    1. Success → The values ​​in the profiles are in all formats
    2. Failed → There are values ​​in profiles that do not match the format

  9. Click the button "Create as audience"
